Have done an update of 140 screens written in swing, These have now been replaced with a
fantastic user interface called fenggui. The bad news is that there are still 80 or so to convert, therefore, when you access
the building screens, therefore, to close the manage buildings screens, you will need to press escape once and then
click keep playing.
The docs are quite out of date on this website. this will be addressed after first round of bug fixing

For The Stars is a multiplayer game.
It is free to play as often as you like.
The game is in alpha release, this means that some essential features are to be included in the near future
As a person in this virtual world, it is up to you what you do and how you live life
- Roam around as a bandit, picking up wealth from computer or player controlled space ships
- Trade commodities, become a sucessful merchant
- Run a production business, gathering ores and resources, prodcing goods
- Take on the role of a planet scientist, making the planet habitation ideal. Averting global warming or freezing by fine tuning the elements in the planet atmosphere.
- Do it alone, rent space in workshops to harvest or build your own goods
- Become a tyrant a dictate rules for the population of an entire planet.
Much research has been undertaken from agencies such as NASA and the Astromoners association to make all the science fiction in the game probable but not impossible.
The science also includes much of the work from the great scientists of our day including Stephen Hawking. For example the player will need to use anti matter, dark matter and quarks within the game.
